Not only is she experienced (and award-winning) but she is sensitive to each dog's personality and comfort level. I knew that I had chosen the right place and that he was in good hands as soon as we got there. When we picked him up, he was happy and relaxed, not anxious or desperate to bolt out the door. Top notch groomer
"I have been bringing my bichon Sam to Carol for 5 years and I still get amazed at how beautiful he looks when I pick him up! A very talented groomer, she has her shop always clean and she is very affordable. I have yet to see a bichon groomed from another groomer HALF has good as Carol! She is the best!"

Very Happy Customer
"I brought my Bichon to Carol hoping to find a place where she could feel more settled than she had been feeling with prior groomers. She required patience and TLC and Carol delivered!! One visit to Carol's grooming and for the first time in 4 years my dog was NOT quivering upon approach. I am happy to have found someone with the gentle, reassuring & accomodating nature that Carol demonstrated. I wasn't as concerned about my dog's appearance as I was about her adjusting and overcoming anxiety associated with grooming related to some apparent past trauma. I am suspicious that other groomers were more concerned about "showing their stuff" and less concerned about assesing how best to handle the particular nature of my dog. Carol listens, cares, and responds professionally to the needs of her clientele. Her level of expertise in grooming combined with her genuine care and love for animals is just the combination of qualities I was looking for."

Best in Boston
"I found Carol while searching the net. When I arrived at here home business I was pleasantly surprised to find none of the dogs/cats caged instead in little play pens. She greeted Nicholas (pom mix Shelter Puppy) with a warm smile and gentle hand. Then asked how I would like him cut, when I explained I wasn't fussy she told me about a cut that would reduce his shedding and maintenance and get him lots of attention from fellow pet lovers. She was right, when I picked him up he was a Prince. His cut was ORIGINAL not the typical shave job or teddy bear. But a cut that showed his personality and handsomeness. Since then I take him there exclusively. She 's FABULOUS even if your pet isn't a thoroughbred. Highly Recommend Lisa."

Great for my min0schnauzer
"Carol - did a fab job on our mini-schnauzer pup -it was her first real haircut and Carol took the time to cut her face by hand because Taffy was nervous with the clippers near her face. Carol suggested we get her used to vibrations and sound, so I saud we will rub our electric totbrushes on her face! You can even bring a toy for your pet!"

The Best in the Industry
"Meiling is my 1 1/2 year old Shihtzu. I choose to keep her in full coat. Needless to say I will only use the best groomer for my dog. I have her groomed by Carols Grooming every two weeks and I think if I were to put her in a show ring she would come in first she looks so beautiful. When I take her home she is so happy telling me that Carol treats my little baby just like her own, Carol does not cage dry knowing how harmful that can be to the pet. Pets owners don't groomer shop any further when you can have the BEST IN THE INDUSTRY. Have your pet groomed by Carols Grooming and it will be the best decision that you can ever make. I know that it was for me."

The Best Groomer Around!
"Carol is amazing! Thank God I found her. I have a five year old Wheaten Terrier that for the first four years looked like a deranged poodle. I was referred to Carol a little over a year ago, and my dog walks out looking like the perfect Wheaten that she should. I have brought her to pet supply stores and other groomers have stopped me to tell me how perfectly she is cut. Carol loves the dogs and is very good to them. She knows her stuff! She knows her breeds and how they should be kept......she is the best!!"

The Best Groomer in Greater Boston
"Carol's Dog Grooming is the only groomer I would go to in the Boston area. My dog Coco is a three year old bichon, and no matter how scruffy she is when she arrives at Carol's, she goes home looking like a show dog. We travel from about an hour away to get Coco groomed, and it's well worth it. Over the years I've seen many of Carol's other doggie clients, and they always look fantastic. If I could give more than a 5 star rating, I would!"

Bichon Grooming
"I was recommended to Carol through a top bichon breeder out of New York. She breeds within the lineage of JR, the former Westminster Bichon Dog Champion. Very few groomers know how to groom Bichons - in the puppy cut. Carol is so talented! In additon to being an expert in pet care, she is a meticulous groomer and stellar educator. Carol and her staff are caring and professional. I wouldn't go anywhere else! Grace (North Andover)"

Carol Horton cares about your pet
"Jasper, my 11 month old Bichon, was groomed today and is looking great. I knew he would because Carol was also the groomer for Simon, my first Bichon, for 10 years. Carol has been a responsible source of information on other dog care issues as well. I trust her to be professional and patient while caring for all of her clients - young or old. It's never too early for Carol to work with your dog to become comfortable on the grooming table. PS: She does cats too."

I am ALWAYS happy with Carol's work
"I've been bringing my poodle mix to Carol for the past year and Oliver always comes out looking great. She knows I don't like his hair to be cut too short - when I say "just a trim" she does it right! Carol truly does a wonderful job and takes great pride in her work. She's also super accomodating and a pleasure to do business with."

My dog has never looked better!
"Our previous groomer kept shaving my Bichon Poo, stating that she was "too matted". Finally, I looked online and found Carol's Grooming. Even though it is further away and a little bit more, it was well worth it when I picked up Kali -- she looked absolutely beautiful! And this despite the fact that Carol had to work with a partially shaved dog! Carol is down to earth friendly, and clearly knows what she's doing and has the awards to prove it. Plus, Kali was comfortable there and was "right at home" when I came to pick her up. Definitely 5 stars!"

CAT GROOMING
"I GOT A CAT FROM A SHELTER, THAT WAS BROUGHT IN AND EXTREMDLY MATTED. HE WAS TREATED SO NICE, HE HAD TO BE SHAVED AND ALSO GOT A BATH. I WOULD RECOMMEND CAROLS GROOMING TO ANYONE WHO LOVES THEIR PET. STEPHANIE"
